2024.3.14 (Field Report)

The three-day LEOP simulation campaign has reached its final day. Today, the main event for JAXA, the deployment of the CPR main reflector, was simulated. Although it was just a simulation, the atmosphere was just like the real thing, and we were nervous at the moment the CPR main reflector was deployed, but it went off without a hitch and all the JAXA members in the operations room were relieved.

There is only a little time left until the actual launch, and we hope that EarthCARE will launch safely, just as smoothly as the simulation showed. Thank you for watching the ESOC simulation campaign report. Dankeschön
