2024.5.23 (ESOC Field Report)
Today we had the final rehearsal before launch at ESOC in Darmstadt, Germany.
Even though it was just a rehearsal, all the operators were as focused as if they were on launch day.
Up until today, the JAXA-CPR team had gone through many rehearsals, but thanks to the debriefing sessions they held after each rehearsal and efforts to improve their technique, today's rehearsal went smoothly.
There is not much time left until the launch, but I look forward to the day when EarthCARE is launched safely and becomes "Hakuryu."
